The first train into Canberra was on 25th May 1914. It sees the occasional freight train, as well as CountryLink passenger trains to/from Sydney. It is also used as the base for the Australian Railway Historic Society (ARHS) ACT branch, which runs tours using its restored rolling stock. The only stations on this line are Queanbeyan and Canberra.
