The Eugowra line branches out from Cowra on the Blayney - Demondrille Line. This line was originally built as far as Canowindra with plans to connect to Forbes or the Main Western Line. The line was mainly used for grain, although there were passenger trains for some time. Services are currently suspended on the line, due to a wash away at Trajere in 1991 and the removal of a bridge over a creek near Canowindra. The 'stop block' is located just beyond Cowra West.
